Established in 1953, Brunswick Athletics Club is one of the oldest athletics clubs in Melbourne. Located at 342 Albion St, Brunswick VIC 3056 it was originally a women-only club, it expanded in later years to allow members of both sexes to join. Today, the club provides a family-friendly atmosphere for athletes of all ages and skill levels to train and compete in athletics.
Joining Brunswick Athletics Club provides athletes with the opportunity to receive coaching and compete in track and field events throughout the summer season (usually October – March). The club provides a supportive environment for both new and experienced athletes to develop their running, throwing, and jumping skills, with all events contested.
In addition to athletic training and competitions, Brunswick Athletics Club offers a variety of social activities and fundraisers throughout the year. These include Club Championships Day and Trophy Presentation Night Dinner, which are among the best events of any athletics clubs in Melbourne or Victoria.
Athletes of all ages are welcome to join Brunswick Athletics Club, starting from the age of 11 years. Membership provides access to athletics coaching, training, and competition opportunities in Victoria. The club is part of the North-West region, currently referred to as Yellow Zone.

Croquet is a fun and skilled game that involves hitting balls through a series of hoops with a mallet. It has a long history of wide popularity, and the Brunswick Mallet Sports Club (BMSC) offers a place to play all the major codes except for the American version. Established in 1911, the BMSC has a rich history visible in its trophy boards and photos in the heritage-listed clubhouse.
Each week, members can get together to play Association Croquet, Golf Croquet or Gateball on a social level. This social play provides an excellent opportunity for new members to learn the game and meet others without the focus of competition. The BMSC also offers coaching in all forms of croquet. Many of the players compete in local and national tournaments, and the club also runs tournaments for both members and open entry.
The BMSC has a strong and active membership and is committed to improving and enhancing its facilities. In 2022, the lights will be upgraded to energy-efficient LEDs with the help of a grant from the Moreland Council.

The Brunswick Club is home to one of the strongest snooker clubs in the country, with many players of world-class ability. The club has 6 full-size tables that are constantly looked after by the members. You can also participate in weekly competitions or watch some of the tournaments held throughout the year.

The Brunswick Football Club consists of two senior teams: the Brunswick NOB’s (men) and Brunswick Renegades (women). The Brunswick NOBs senior team plays in Division Two while the Brunswick Renegades senior team plays in the Women’s Premier C Division. The Brunswick Football Club is closely aligned with the Brunswick Junior Football Club, which plays in the Yarra Junior Football League and feeds junior talent to the senior teams.
The Brunswick Football Club is based at Brunswick’s famous AG Gillon Oval, which boasts a recently renovated grandstand and social club rooms. The oval is a great ground that provides an excellent playing surface for the teams.

Located at 33 Dawson St, Brunswick VIC 3056, Brunswick Hockey Club has a long history of maintaining high standards on and off the field.
Since its establishment in 1923, Brunswick Hockey Club has survived through lean times and emerged as one of Victoria’s fastest-growing clubs. The club has proven to be innovative, creative, and forward-thinking in terms of its committees and initiatives. In March 2008, Brunswick secured its own ground which was relaid in 2017. In recent years, Brunswick has been named as either winner or finalist for Hockey Victoria Community Club of the Year.
Brunswick Hockey Club caters to hockey players of all ages, abilities, and sizes. The club boasts a buzzing social scene, regularly holding functions at its field, Wylie Park clubrooms, and surrounding nightspots. Located at AG Gillon Oval, Pearson St, Brunswick VIC 3055, Brunswick Cricket Club is one of the oldest cricket clubs in Australia, founded over 150 years ago. The club fields four senior men’s teams in the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association, as well as a senior women’s team, catering to all abilities and numerous junior sides.
