A group of strong oxidizing agents commonly sold in an approximately 5% solution of sodium hypochlorite, although strong thickened bleaches can go as high as 11% solution. Should only be used with COLD water – hot water simply evaporates the active ingredient! Care should be taken to never mix bleach with any acid product or indeed any other chemical as this can liberate toxic chlorine gas.
