A local favourite since 1866, on any given day at the Termo (as she’s affectionately known), you’ll find all your pub stalwarts – a ripping beer, flavoursome menu, terrific cocktails, jungle-like beer garden (that’s dog friendly) and so much more.
The atmosphere is good and the food is delicious! Especially, you have to eat chicken parma no matter what!!!! It reminds me of this place again. New menu – new yums! Big tick from us! We had a few Sunday afternoon drinks, and then ordered four sharing dishes, which was more than enough for two hungry people.
As well as the calamari and chips (which were pretty standard, but enjoyable), we got the pumpkin hummus with spiced lamb and the cheesy garlic bread; definitely the highlights! The lamb dish was the perfect size, especially considering that it was quite rich. Very well priced at $14 and they didn’t skimp on the pita bread! The cheesy garlic bread was piping hot, soft and fresh.
They were out of their house scotch so offered Johnnie Walker at no additional cost. Sunday afternoon well spent. Terminus.
