Google: it’s a person employed to clean the interior of a building.
ChatGPT : individuals tasked with cleaning to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
Society define it as : … … … … … …
(I leave it to you to fill in the blanks)
In my observations, people frequently characterise cleaners as : entry level, last resort, dirty, hard work and low income. Unfortunately, society tends to undervalue this crucial role, often showing less respect to cleaners because it doesn’t align with conventional definitions of success. This significantly impacts their self-esteem, confidence, and sense of self-worth.
Personally I have strong desire to make conscious shift give cleaners a new definition.
At Whistle Clean, this is how we define the role :
Cleaners bring light, oxygen, clarity and harmony into each space we enter, leaving behind clear energy for people to create from a fresh perspective. We leave spaces that are cleansed, energised, uplifted and refreshed allowing for new vision and new creation in the world.
With this definition it felt uplifting, empowering, worthy, and other positive emotions.
Tony Robbins often said: Change your meaning, change your life.
The question is: How do you define your work?
