Misalignment

When companies looking cleaners, it’s common for the industry to prioritize “price,” overlooking numbers of unspoken expectations. This often results in misunderstandings and wasted time managing expectations.

Years ago, a company hired cleaners for their newly renovated, luxurious workplace. Initially, everything appeared fine. A few weeks later, she stayed late and discovered cleaners using a toilet rag to clean her desk. She felt uncomfortable confronting them, so she decided to reclean her desk daily.

Months later, the cleaners used the wrong cleaning product on their white display floor, costing them a $6,000 repair bill. When she addressed this with the cleaners, they pointed fingers at each other.

At this point she had enough and reach out to our assistance.
We fixed the white floor and raised the cleaning standards in 2 weeks time.

I share this because unspoken expectations often remain silent. Criteria like
🗣️ Good communication
🚫 avoiding cross-contamination
🧴 using appropriate cleaning products
It’s an expectation at a subconscious level, yet it remains unfulfilled.
We still have to communicate even if they seem obvious.

Consider my son’s toys:
🚒 The fire truck wants to load up with water
🛩️ The airplane wants to be light and efficient.
Combining both conflict of interest (looks funny too) and it wont work.
Yet its a common arrangement till today.

This applies to work and life.

Invest time for clarity. Ask these questions
– what is your desired outcome?
– what has to happen to be successful?

The outcome of being ALIGN ensures trust, effortless results, meets expectations, feeling of happiness and joy

Ultimately saves money and time.
